the beginning.

hi everyone!

i am new to this blogging thing but i just wanted to start out by explaining myself and why i am doing this! People are always telling me i need to create a website or blog about my fitness and self discovery journey. i cant be the only one who feels a little out of touch with themselves or is confused about the person they are and want to be. i want to find myself through fitness and health; mind, body, spirit.
Over the past year i have completely changed my lifestyle and added a greener outlook! i want to share all of the yummy recipes i have found and created myself, workouts that i think are wonderful, and create a place for beginners to start, considering i wasn't there too long ago.

i have always lived a little on the healthier side; rarely ate fast food, never liked soda, worked out often, played sports and was just over all a pretty active person. In March of 2012 i got a job at a local gym and it has been one of the best influences in my life. My boss probably cant stand me by now because i am constantly bugging him to train me and teach me everything he knows from physical fitness to mental strength to nutrition. i cant get enough! i always seem to have my nose in my laptop, phone, or library books researching anything and everything.
Yoga has always been an interest of mine, but i am taking it to the next level. i want to renew my soul and find what truly makes me happy. i want to be aware of my entire body and love it in every way possible. i want to see what my rabbit sees in me. (i call my boyfriend Scott rabbit occasionally)

i don't want people to think that doing everything i do will work for them because we are all different and our bodies do not work the same. i just want this to be a place where i share things i love, attempt to inspire others, and maybe give a bit of motivational advice!
